An ancient burial was accidentally discovered in the courtyard of a private house in the village of Agmamedlo, Marneuli region. Scientists from the National Center for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia claim that this burial ground is about one and a half thousand years old. The burial has four walls and slabs to cover the tomb of large sandstone stones. The tomb is shared, with three adults and one teenager, and the location of the skeletons indicates that the bodies were buried according to Christian custom. Unfortunately, the high humidity made exhumation impossible.
